Joan Reid, CHT, is a life member of The American Society of Dowsers, Inc. and a lifetime member of the International Association of Counselors and Therapists as well as an artist, teacher and energy worker. She received the blessing of Teacher, Kumu, in the Hawaiian Tradition of Healing & Spirituality.

She has been an integral part of the American Society of Dowsers Basic School at their National Convention for over 29 years as both an instructor and director. Joan has also been a clinical hypnotherapist for over 30 years. As a public school art teacher, she has made her students aware of dowsing and energy work. She is a Clinical Hypnotherapist, Reiki Master, Hawaiian Energetics practitioner, and a Dowser. Joan maintains an office seeing clients and teaching classes in meditation, dream work, Hawaiian Energetics, Reiki and connecting your inner voice through art. She builds labyrinths, is a speaker for fibromyalgia groups, and is a beekeeper living in northern New York.
